The development of the culture of mass communications opened up the possibilities of semiotics for creating, constructing an image, and analyzing existing, current images. Today we can talk about the technology of analysis and construction of images. Communication architects see in semiotics the science of signs, their creation, perception, a science that can enhance the very influence of mass communications. The authors show how semiotics was able to attract them. First of all, the understanding that any object, event, concept, any entity has its own image, its sign. “And an omen appeared to me” is an expression from a biblical parable. If we follow F. de Saussure, one of the founders of semiotics, then this science stands on the unity and interaction of the object and the sign corresponding to it; object as a signified (a certain verbal entity, a certain object, concept) and a sign expressed in a certain form as a signifier. The article analyzes the signs of social reality and analyzes the very method of such an analysis, including the selection of an object, subject, plan of content and plan of expression, the meaning of a signimage, etc. The article can be useful in methodological and methodological terms to all those who are involved in both the theory of language and semiotics and those who work and study in the field of public relations and mass communications.

The article deals with the system of arrangement and disposition of the right to intellectual property (IP). The relevance of the topic is that the most important element of the new knowledge economy is intellectual property (IP). In business, "intellectual property" means ownership of exclusive rights; its meaning is that only the owner of intellectual property and, above all, the author has the exclusive right to use it. No other person may use the intellectual property in any way without his/her permission. An international legal instrument, the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, stipulates that "intellectual property" includes rights in respect of literary, artistic, and scientific works, performances of artistic activities, sound recording, the radio, and television shows; inventions in all fields of human activity, scientific discoveries, industrial designs; trademarks, etc. Therefore, the issues of assessment and accounting of intellectual property in modern conditions are of particular relevance and practical importance. The article considers the theoretical and methodological foundations of IP objects, highlights the scheme of IP objects, analyzes the system of organization of IP rights, examines types of agreements on IP rights, investigates problems and trends of IP objects.
