The VISION ZERO – concept of zero injury – was developed by the International Social Security Association and launched in Singapore on September 4, 2017 at the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work. By Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 26, 2019 N 833-r “On approval of a set of measures for stimulating employers and workers to improve working conditions and preserve the health of workers”, paragraph 4 provides for introduction of the principles of zero injury movement into the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management system. Many large companies in Russia have joined this movement. Effectiveness of using obtained rubber powder as a sorbent has been proven by studies of its characteristics. Rubber powder obtained during recycling of rubbers adsorbs oil spills floating on the water surface, when it is placed over them.
