It is worth noting that in patients with congenital heart defects, it increases to 0.5 %. The article highlights the main criteria of Wolff — Parkinson — White syndrome, its morphological justification, and the features of modern topical diagnosis. Also, the review of the main methods of treatment and rehabilitation of patients is presented.

The experience of the Department of Phthisiology and Pulmonology in the evolutionary aspect for 50 years is presented. The periods of the formation of teaching principles (1972-1988), the period of changes associated with restructuring in the country and changes in the health care system (1990-2010), the period after 2010 as a time of high achievements both in science and epidemiology of tuberculosis, as well as the period after 2015, after the adoption of the FSES and during the 2020 pandemic of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), are considered. Methods and technologies are analyzed, the department's own experience in the format of distance education is presented.
The article is devoted to studying the influence of risk factors on the development of hearing loss and deafness in children in the first year of life, their frequency and structure. Results. The article shows the results of audiological screening (stage 2) in children aged 1 month to 1 year. Factors affecting hearing pathology in children in the first year of life are discussed. Untimely detection of hearing loss in children at an early age leads to deafness and, as a result, to disability of children [1]. Conclusion. Carrying out mass audiological screening of newborns at stage 1 — in a maternity hospital or perinatal center, and a comprehensive audiological examination of children at risk of hearing loss at stage 2 — in surdology centers and offices contributes to the timely detection of disorders in young children and to the implementation of corrective measures necessary for the child's speech and psycho-emotional development [2].
The article is devoted to the study of the labor potential of nursing specialists, the influence of its components on their professional activities. Results. The results of determining the labor potential of nursing specialists revealed the need for training and development of specialists in the workplace in accordance with specific professional problems. Conclusion. The study made it possible to determine the main components of the labor potential of a nurse's personality (intellectual, qualificational, communicative, and motivational), compile a socio-psychological portrait of a specialist's personality and to develop recommendations for professional training and development of a nurse in the workplace.
