The article presents the analysis of the fishing Rules for the Volga-Caspian basin (Astrakhan region) to determine field sizes of fish. The process of forming a modern commercial measures on the fish. It is established that this parameter is inherent to conservatism and any revision should take place on a deep scientific and sound basis, taking into account the status of stocks, their dynamics and biological characteristics of the population, the magnitude of the anthropogenic load, etc. A series of recommendations for improving field measures, as a tool for limiting the withdrawal of older fish groups with the aim of saving and restoring their reserves.
Modern approaches to the rational use of integrated reservoirs are considered: the relevance and progressivity of the multiculture of hydrobionts is grounded; describes possible ways of expanding the range of food products produced by ichthyocenosis; paid attention to the possibility of obtaining medicinal and technical raw materials. The recreational appeal of integrated reservoirs is discussed, as well as their importance as centers for stabilizing the hydrological regime of soils and the level of biodiversity. It is noted that the rational organization of management of the operation of reservoirs of complex use ensures the real achievement of a number of declared UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Summary. A study of the development of natural prey base (abundance and species composition of phyto- and zooplankton) in the experimental ponds for growing carp fish in polyculture in terms of non-discharged ponds of the Republic of Bangladesh. The survey was carried out in fish farming Ratan Matsya Yediyol County of Netrokona region Mimicing located in the North-Eastern part of the Republic of Bangladesh. For the experiment was involved three non-discharged ponds with an area of 0.12–0.18 ha, identical characteristics. It is established that with increase in stocking density in the experimental ponds reduced the number of phytoplankton and especially zooplankton. With the increase of density of planting 1.5 times the number of phytoplankton has decreased by 8%, zooplankton — 28%. By increasing the density of planting twice the number decreased by 30% for phyto- and 44% for zooplankton. Species composition of phyto- and zooplankton did not depend on the stocking density of fish.
The review provides an analysis of published works by foreign and domestic researchers on pike perch feeding and results of growing multiple age fish from larvae to adults in various fish breeding systems. A combined method is considered to be the most successful method of growing pike perch and obtaining juveniles of high quality. Despite the fact that the biotechnology of pike perch cultivation from fry is well developed, the larvae rearing remains in the research stage. The most difficult part of growing juveniles is to transfer larvae from live to artificial feed. The presented results of larval feeding, despite the large number of publications, are contradictory and allow solving only certain issues of rearing. There is no normative and methodical literature on pike perch feeds and feeding. For commercial rearing of pike perch, first of all it is necessary to develop starting feeds and the feeds for broodstocks.
The results of the aquaculture production in Russia and Novosibirsk region, identified the main problems, prospects and directions of development of fish farming in the Novosibirsk region. The proposed activities aimed at increasing the volume of production of commodity fish and ways of increasing of economic efficiency of the production which include several major proposals. Developed a conceptual model of the development of the fisheries complex of the Novosibirsk region, the model revealed specific features of the aquaculture production and areas of promising development. Also considered and proposed to introduce a variant of joint activities on a contractual basis fish farms in order to distribute the costs between farms and the transition to year-round production. Developed the forecast for the development of fish farming by 2025.

The history and contemporary state of artificial propagation of valuable fishes in North America are reviewed. Apart from Conservation programs numerous releases of hatchery fry and fingerlings for commercial and recreational fisheries have taken place in USA and Canada. The main objects of Pacific fish-breeding are Oncorhyncus species but hatchery programs at Atlantic Coast included many different species. The second part of review is devoted to artificial propagation of Atlantic salmon and other salmonoid fishes including non-endogenous species in the drainage of Atlantic ocean in Canada and north-east states of USA.
