Feeds are the main component of high productivity of cattle. Optimally choosing
their ratio in the ration of the animal, we can control enzymatic processes and
digestibility in the rumen, thereby achieving maximum bioconversion of nutrients
into production. The study of the infl uence of use of new high-energy feed
additive on milk productivity of cows in the period of increasing the milk yield
and stabilization of lactation has been carried out. The article presents the
data obtained as a result in research and practical experiment on the lactating
cows of Kholmogory breed, when in their in ration a new testing high-energy feed
additive which has been prepared from products of processing of agricultural
products in conjunction with the secondary raw material processing industry has
been input. The input into the ration of lactating cows high-energy feed
additive led to the increase of milk production, as well as enhance the mass
proportion of fat and protein in the milk. Studies on the infl uence of
non-traditional feeds, which are being components of the feed additive on the
productive traits of animals, marked the beginning of the works on the creation
of new high-energy feed additive for cattle in order to compensate in the
rations of animal of protein and mineral defi ciency.
