The purpose of this work was to study the infl uence of biologically active injection of drugs Nucleopeptide and Catosal on the morphological structure of the liver of rabbits. The objects of research were 30 heads of young silver rabbits at 2 months of age. According to the principle of analogs three groups of 10 heads in each have been formed. Rabbits of the 1st experimental group have been injected with the drug of Nucleopeptide at a dose of 0,5 ml/kg of live weight once for 3 days, a repetition of the course after 14 days. Rabbits of the 2nd experimental group have been injected with a similar dose of the drug Catosal once for 4 days, the course has been repeated at the same time. The control group of rabbits has been kept on a household diet and drugs were not administered to them. The effect of different drugs on the liver has been evaluated by organ weight and histological structure of hepatocytes. The data have been obtained suggest that the weight of the rabbit liver in the 1st experimental group was 115,6±5,4 g, and in the 2nd was 110,5±2,7 g, which by 22,2 and 27,7 % higher than in the control group, respectively. The study of the histological structure has been shown that the volume of the cytoplasm of hepatocytes in the animals of experimental groups has been increased by 1,07 (Р > 0,01) and 1,08 (Р > 0,01) times and was 927,33±45,04 and 939,56±40,43 mkm[sup]3[/sup], vise versus 870,23±34,50 mkm3 in control group. The nuclear-parenchymal ratio in the rabbits of the control group was 9,79 ± 0,81 mkm, in animals of the first and second experimental groups this indicator has increased by 1,32 (P> 0,01) and 2,85 (P> 0,001) times, that confirms the increase in the functional activity of the organ.
