Computer modeling is a method that is widely used in the scientific investigations. Every year it’s getting more and more popular and becomes an integral part of a number of scientific disciplines, including medical chemistry. Thanks to this method, specialists in the field of drug design can predict the biological activity of a compound and its toxicity, based on the structure of the molecule. This work is a systematic review of articles performed in accordance with the recommendations of PRISMA Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) and contains information on computer modeling of the interaction of flavonoids with biological targets.
Nanotechnology is the most perspective direction in the modern science and technic. The great interest in entire world has been observing to nanoparticles properties and their fields of use investigation. Cerium dioxide is a perspective oxide material which has wide use in different branches of industry due to its unique physical and chemical properties. Burst of interest to cerium oxide nanoparticles development and use in biology and medicine takes has been taking place recently. Scientists in many countries have been carrying out cerium oxide nanoparticles efficiency of use against various diseases.
The development of an environmentally friendly process for the synthesis of metal nanoparticles is an important step in the field of nanotechnology. One way to achieve this goal is to use biological systems. In this study, silver nanoparticles were obtained using extracellular enzymes of organisms of the Saccharomyces boulardi strain. The effect of the pH of the medium on the synthesis of nanoparticles was studied. The antimicrobial activity of the obtained nanoparticles was investigated.
Common wormwood herb and its extracted meal for obtaining substance enriched by flavonoids, polysaccharides and pectins were analysed. There was carried out consecutive extraction by using extragents with different polarity. The assay content of flavonoids in obtained fractions was carried out. The assay content of polysaccharides and pectins in extracted meal was conducted. Toxicological study of obtained substances was carried out.
Patent marketing research refers to a special part of marketing research using patent information as the main information base. Conducting patent marketing research is especially important in the highly competitive pharmaceutical field.
In this article, the authors conducted a macro-diagnostic study of pear fruits of three varieties. A qualitative analysis of raw materials was carried out using color reactions, thin-layer chromatography in pear fruits most widely cultivated in the territory of the Russian Federation. Arbutin was identified in the raw material, which allows us to consider this type of raw material as a promising alternative to lingonberry and bearberry leaves used in official medicine and actualizes further research aimed at developing modern methods of standardization with subsequent inclusion in the developed regulatory documentation.
Drug products are specific goods. A customer cannot determine quality and authenticity of any tablet, ointment or ampule content himself. As number of registered drugs has been increasing the actuality of quality assurance and standardization of drugs becomes much important. At the same time highly active substances belonging to new natural and synthetic drugs classes has been coming in medicinal practice. NMR spectroscopy approach has wide opportunities in increasing number of drugs analysis which must meet constantly increasing demands.
