In this article we have analyzed the cases of electrical injuries caused by the lack of control for the process of suspending and removing the grounding sticks and jumper shunts during period from 1969 to 2017. We have determined the risks of the electrical injuries caused by the use of the traction power installations. As a result we have developed a technical solution of automated control over the process of suspending, removing and controlling the grounding sticks.
