The main backup methods used for the frequency-controlled electric drive are considered, solutions for optimizing the operation of each of the backup systems presented are presented. The main methods of backup power source of the electric drive, in particular, a drive with power from two independent sources of alternating current, a drive with power from the main network of alternating current and a reserve network of direct current are analyzed. The basic methods for constructing a frequency-controlled electric drive of dual power supply from AC and DC networks are proposed, a comparative analysis of these systems is given in terms of weight and dimensions.
