The article examined the relationship of business and recreation of various forms of aquaculture organizations. We discuss the relevance to intensify the search of advanced technologies in aquaculture, which are designed to feed a growing world population. It is shown that aquaculture development is a direct result of the progressive degradation of arable land areas. Presented growth and aquaculture production volumes in the modern world. Modern approaches to the management of complex appointment reservoirs, as well as the urgency of developing an integrated aquatic polyculture technology. The possible ways to expand the range of food products obtained as well as medicinal and technical raw materials. We consider the components of recreational potential of reservoirs used in aquaculture, noted their importance as centers of stabilization of the hydrological regime of soils and biodiversity level; discusses the positive impact of recreational businesses to improve the efficiency of natural resources and economic stability of the region.
The small river Nizhniy Suzun is the first water body of the Novosibirsk region, which has fallen under a strong anthropogenic impact. The zooplankton of the river according to species diversity has no significant differences, while the quantitative indices are much lower in comparison with Ob riverbed. On the main extension of the river, productivity of the bottom fauna increased, but some contaminated and overgrown areas with low flowability lost their importance for feeding fish. Aboriginal ichthyofauna, replenished with Abramis brama, Cyprinus carpio, Leucaspius delineates and Sander lucioperca. The invaders do not play a significant role in ichthyocenosis.
The article gives the long-term data on the implementation of the breeding program with the aim to increase resistance of created carp species toward infectious diseases. There are presented the results of the development of effective selection methods to improve the carp’s resistance: mass and combination selections (family breeding carp plus mass selection). Two breeds of carp with increased resistance toward the infectious diseases — Carp Teleneshtskiy scaly and Carp Teleneshtskiy frame, were created as a result of the selections based on the integral indicator for the overall viability and sustainability in the bioassay in Moldova. Selection on the basis of disease resistance has led to some changes in the morphotype, which did not have a negative impact on the productive characteristics of the breeds.
The data from the state monitoring of the main commercial bottom and pelagic fish occurring in the Barents and Norwegian Seas as well as in the North Atlantic are presented. The parasitological monitoring is aimed at characterizing the scale of fish infestation with harmful parasites which are dangerous for human. The obtained long-term data were published in 10 federal legislative documents of the Ministry for Health and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
The review provides an analysis of published works by foreign and domestic researchers on pike perch feeding and results of growing multiple age fish from larvae to adults in various fish breeding systems. A combined method is considered to be the most successful method of growing pike perch and obtaining juveniles of high quality. Despite the fact that the biotechnology of pike perch cultivation from fry is well developed, the larvae rearing remains in the research stage. The most difficult part of growing juveniles is to transfer larvae from live to artificial feed. The presented results of larval feeding, despite the large number of publications, are contradictory and allow solving only certain issues of rearing. There is no normative and methodical literature on pike perch feeds and feeding. For commercial rearing of pike perch, first of all it is necessary to develop starting feeds and the feeds for broodstocks.
According to the current intellectual property legal FIPS recommendations, the authors have formed and registered a database (DB). The DB is a systematized cluster of information concerning Uglich reservoir ichthyofauna parasites, the data being related to the exact affected organs and tissues of the fish obtained in 2013–2015. The suggested organizational and systematic approach to a research work together with the registration of its results as a DB according to the intellectual property law would give an opportunity to use the DB for making administrative decisions organizing melioration actions as well as to place the DB into market as a property asset.
In the third part of review devoted to North-American hatchery programs the introduction of American shad into Pacific basin and contemporary state of artificial propagation of anadromous Alosines are considered. The main advantages of Alosines as objects of fish-breeding are high fertility, short term of river life, high adaptability to new conditions and capacity to invade into non-indigenous ecological systems. Despite of these advantages the artificial propagation leads to decline and extirpation of populations, so main condition of success of Conservation projects is restoration of migratory run and natural spawning.
