Recommendations to the master mechanics are given in the article: what types of diagnostic work for systems in CNC machines and in what time frame they should be carried out in enterprises or companies. Lists with description of instruments used for the diagnosis are given. An example of comprehensive reports for the diagnostic work performed on turning, milling and EDM machines is given.
The possibility of replacing solder joint with adhesive joint during assembly of manifold in the aircraft fuel system is considered in the article. A qualitative assessment of the economic efficiency of this solution is carried out. The calculation of the necessary shear strength of the adhesive joint is carried out. Adhesive compositions of foreign and domestic manufacturers are analyzed. The best adhesive composition for the considered case was selected after calculations and analysis of the products. The use of adhesives is related to the "green technology", which increases the possibility of their choice for the further development of mechanical engineering.
The problem of developing effective methods for predicting the residual life, reliability, strength, and durability of structures made of polymer and composite materials has been investigated within the framework of revised variational formulation of inverse problems concerning prediction. The principle of the multiplicity of prediction models is formulated, the inclusion of which in revised variational formulations of inverse problems concerning prediction opens up new promising opportunities for increasing the efficiency of solving prediction problems which determine characteristics of composites.
The work is devoted to the stages of development of laser complexes, their tasks and capabilities. The first laser complex included: a 2 kW CO2 multi beam laser, a 3-coordinate technological unit, systems for transporting the beam from the laser to the optical head, power supply and complex control systems. Laser complexes are manufactured by the Vladimir machine tool plant “Tekhnika”, experts in metallurgical science from the Tver Technical University joined in the work. Tens of thousands of parts of different configurations from various materials weighing from hundreds of grams to 3 tons have been processed using these complexes. Thermal hardening of various parts from different materials has been carried out for a number of Russian enterprises using this complex.
The article presents a model of air taxi on the basis of quadcopter – type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), designed for the transportation of small loads. The created operating model is capable of performing an autonomous flight without human control and with a large number of obstacles. Two types of devices for load engagement have been developed. This type of air taxi is able to provide urgent delivery of medicines, documentation, mail, food, and so on, with a heavy traffic flow in large cities and premises with a very large area.
Information on the reliability of pumping equipment by “OOO NTE” Company is presented in the article. Feedback from one of the clients and statistics on the operating time of pumping equipment are given. Brief description of the company and main competitive advantage of “OOO NTE” are also presented.
The functional purpose of the profile bending machine of each item is defined in the article; possibilities and limits of its use in automatic roll forming lines intended for the manufacture of parts using method of sheet metal profiling are considered.
The effect of aluminum additives on the mechanical properties and structure of lowcarbon structural steels is positive. On the basis of the conducted experimental studies have established the optimal concentrations of aluminum in steel. Increased aluminum content in steel inexpedient. The optimal amount of aluminum content is 0.015–0.02 % for steel castings operating under variable load conditions at negative temperatures, both technological and economic point of view.
The article discusses the possibilities of using laser surfacing krytiy by combining laser surfacing and gas-thermal spraying methods. On the basis of tribological tests, the prospects for using multimodal coatings as an alternative to expensive homogeneous coatings made of an amofluxing Nickel-based alloy are substantiated.
