The intensity and duration of preservation of the immune response to viral
hepatitis B after vaccination among the medical staff of the polyclinic was
studied. Some features of postvaccinal immunity in medical staff were revealed.
In 39.2 % of the surveyed, postvaccinal antibodies were not detected or their
level was lower than protective, which is the basis for a course of vaccinations
against the HV virus in this group of persons in the absence of
contraindications for vaccination. The intensity of post-vaccination immunity to
the HV virus among different groups of medical personnel of the polyclinic
depends on the type of professional activity.
The epidemiological characteristics of chronic hepatitis C in the Yaroslavl
Oblast are presented. The dynamics of the incidence of chronic hepatitis C in
the Yaroslavl Oblast throughout 2007-2017 shows a trend towards growth. The
maximum indicator, which for the first time exceeds the average value for the
Russian Federation, was registered in 2017 – it totaled to 43.19 per 100
thousand people. The most susceptible to this disease in 2017 were young people
aged 20-39 years, the proportion of which in the number of newly identified
patients was 50.2%. Significant contribution to the incidence of chronic
hepatitis C is also made by older persons of working age - 40-59 years - 29.1%.
When studying the intensity of the epidemic process of chronic hepatitis C in
different age groups of the population, it has been found that the incidence
rate among adults in young able-bodied age ranges from maximum of 30-39 years -
0.84 to a minimum of 0.43 per thousand people in 50-59 years. According to
epidemiological surveillance data, the sexual route of transmission (46.2%) is
predominant in the age group of 20-39 years among the specific transmission
routes of chronic hepatitis C in different age groups of the population.
