Retrofitting energy infrastructure is a complex social and technical problem that requires a package approach. After analyzing the operation of the hot‑water system in a block of flats, formerly a dormitory, the cause of temperature violation was determined. The possibility of using the dead‑end hot‑water system provided by the project, or its reconstruction into a circulatory system, is considered. The research was carried out in accordance with the guidelines set out in MUC 4.3.2900–11, there was discrepancy found between the regulatory temperature limits at water‑supply points on different floors of the building.
In this paper technical features of depth and precoat (thin layer) filters intended for clearing processes of water-based technological liquids and water from mechanical impurities are compared. Directions for the improvement of precoat filters are identified and designs of the precoat thin layer lamellar filters are proposed to provide precision cleaning of large volumes and flows of water-based liquids. The design of an experimental free-flow lamellar filters of high performance is given.
Studying international experience of water resources management, domestic scientists and specialists water-transport workers, analyzing indicators and visiting objects, allowed to draw a conclusion that Kazakhstan can receive essential benefit as a result of introduction of the international quality standards of drinking water and sewage. It belongs both to the sector of household water supply, and to the sector of water supply of the industrial enterprises. In this article authors, studying questions of reduction of deficiency of water resources in some foreign states, offer mechanisms of reduction of deficiency of water. In this regard, authors, using the principles and key factors of success of water resources, recommends transition to economically reasonable tariffs for all consumers of the country which are the main mechanism of effective redistribution of water resources and maximizing benefit for economy.
