The main sources of air pollution in large industrial centers are considered. The characteristics of the pollutants contained in the emissions of vehicles are presented. A mathematical model is proposed that allows one to assess the quality of atmospheric air when it is polluted by emissions from motor vehicles. The assessment of the risk to public health during inhalation exposure to major pollutants is presented.
