The article made an analysis of the current state of heat supply systems of the agricultural sites showed that the applied heat power equipment outdated, in need of repair or replacement. It turned out that for the purpose of supplying heat agricultural production facilities are inefficient, imperfect systems and tools heating (Central boiler), which in turn excessively capital-intensive and unable to provide the required standardized animal welfare, have great heat loss at considerable over-expenditure of fuel (fuel oil, heating oil). All these factors lead to a significant reduction of technical and economic indicators Analyzes the state of domestic engineering in the field of production of thermal equipment, which, as it turns out, is also in poor condition. There are main factors contributing to the situation. As an alternative, more rational energy resource considers the power, i.e. the introduction of electric heating. Describes the main areas of application of electrical heating in different sec-tors of agriculture (crops, livestock, operation, ICC, etc.) both within the country and world agri-culture, where there is a tendency of constant growth of consumption of electro thermal process-es. The advantages and disadvantages of electric heating, identified the problem of efficient use of produced classification of technical means of electrical heating, are the main requirements of electro thermal equipment. It is established that the use of electricity as a heat source leads to the achievement of some positive results, ranging from improving working conditions, to reducing harmful emissions into the environment.
