A significant increase in efficiency of the boiler during the heating season (mainly due to the reduction of losses of heat with leaving gases) can be achieved through the development of the algorithm of the best performance of the combined operation of individual boilers. In this paper we propose to use specific computational algorithm, implemented in the environment of Mathcad for optimal load of a boiler. This algorithm can be incorporated into the controller that controls the operation of a boiler with any power. This will allow to save a considerable amount of fuel without additional capital investments.
The constructions of water level autoregulators and water flow stabilizers and their shortcomings and advantages are given. Technical and technological requirements that are taken into account when studying and creating new means of hydraulic automation of water intake structures from mountain rivers are described.
Treatment facilities continuously work on improvement of the existing technologies of processing of sewage, due to the need of decrease of working costs [1]. Therefore decrease in amount of the applied chemical reagents, for example, for a deposit deaquation, is an important part of this task. For the analysis of a possible economic benefit within carrying out pilot tests on municipal treatment facilities comparison of a dose of flocculant when using a tape filter press and multidisk auger press was executed. Results showed multiple reduction of the resources necessary for a deaquation of the same quantity of a deposit. The obtained information can be the useful when carrying out calculations of operational expenses of treatment facilities.
