The peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal “Sanitary doctor” has been published since 2003 and was registered by the Federal Service for the Supervision of Compliance with Mass Communication Law and the Protection of Cultural Heritage as a media outlet on June 20, 2003. Registration Certificate ПИ №77 - 15717.

The journal “Sanitary Inspector” is indexed in the bibliometric database “Russian Science Citation Index” and is included in the list of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals in which the main research results of doctoral dissertations and dissertations in support of candidature for a degree (list of Higher Attestation Commission) should be published.

Since December 28, 2018, in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission, the journal has been publishing articles on the following scientific specialties and the corresponding branches of knowledge, for which academic degrees are granted:

  • 14.02.01 - Hygiene (medical sciences),
  • 14.02.02 - Epidemiology (medical sciences).

The journal publishes scientific articles based on original research, reviews, results of summarizing practical experience and recommendations, information on upcoming congresses, symposia, conventions, as well as reports on past scientific and practical events.

All scientific articles submitted to the journal are subjected to Double-blind review, ensuring the anonymity (neither author nor reviewer knows who the other is).
