The program for energy saving and energy efficiency improvement of SUE “Vodokanal of St. Petersburg” is considered. One of the examples is the reconstruction of Moscow pumping station with the introduction of intelligent lighting systems.
It is no secret that today functional grounding is a prerequisite for the normal and safe operation of electronic equipment. Naturally, when creating a ground circuit, questions how to do it correctly arise. In this article, Vladimir Sosnin, a leading technical expert of the Poligon Group, describes in detail various ground circuits, common errors, and provides examples of using grounding devices on real objects.
Solving the problem of redundancy in 0.4 kV network required a new algorithm based on the analysis of active current when a short circuit occurs in cable lines and reactive current in the case of starting or self-starting electric motors. Successful long-term operation of MDRP-0,4 produced by Mechanotronika Research and Development Centre demonstrates reliable protection against all types of short circuits and it is not actuated when starting or self-starting electric motors, as well as in case of high-voltage network damage.
Retrofitting energy infrastructure is a complex social and technical problem that requires a package approach. After analyzing the operation of the hot-water system in a block of flats, formerly a dormitory, the cause of temperature violation was determined. The possibility of using the dead-end hot-water system provided by the project, or its reconstruction into a circulatory system, is considered. The research was carried out in accordance with the guidelines set out in MUC 4.3.2900-11, there was discrepancy found between the regulatory temperature limits at water-supply points on different floors of the building.
The article shows the ways to improve electricity meters, including to provide a mechanism for adjusting the cost of electricity consumed depending on its quality, the source and the perpetrator of distortion. An example of a block diagram of a meter equipped with a function for adjusting the electricity cost is given.
In the modern world, in most countries, the issue of increased and low-efficient use of energy resources is acute. The governments of these countries create various programs designed to increase the capacity of enterprises, develop options for the most effective production strategies. However, despite the measures taken, natural resources are rapidly decreasing, which can undoubtedly cause global negative consequences for whole mankind. For this reason, we decided to address the issues of energy saving and energy efficiency, since these factors most strongly affect the careful use of natural resources.
The article shows the place of energy analysis in the energy management system, provides a way of implementing energy analytics at the enterprise based on regression models, and demonstrates the advantages of such a tool.
One of the types of the power consumer's violation of contractual obligations is unaccounted consumption. The article discusses the framework of legal regulation of unaccounted consumption, as well as the judicial one.
The review examines changes in existing legislation related to the activities of generating companies, electricity suppliers, local grid companies and electricity consumers, as well as some decisions of the FAS and OFAS relating to unaccounted consumption.
The article sets out the requirements for providing employees with personal protective equipment, and provides examples of the most common violations. The court proceedings on violation of provision with personal protective equipment are considered, and the expert's comments on elimination of such violations are given.
The article describes the circumstances of industrial implementation of multiple-well drilling. World's first multiple-well turbo-drilling was performed in 1943, in the midst of the Great Patriotic War, in the Krasnokamsk oil field in the Molotov (Perm) Region.
In the editorial review, we talk about recent online conferences, webinars and round tables on energy development, new technologies and advanced developments.
