The characteristic of the method of calculation of an assessment of circuit reliability of power supply of final consumers on the basis of objective factors is given. The substantiation of incorrectness of reliability estimation on the basis of the analysis of indicators of actual reliability is given. The technique of estimation of circuit reliability of power supply to end users, based on the theory of factor analysis, which allows to obtain a qualitative assessment of circuit reliability of power supply with a minimum of initial and reference objective information.
The paper presents the principles of automated diagnostic monitoring systems (ADMS) development and the approach to ADMS monitored parameters selection. The method of ADMS application as a tool for ranking equipment by technical condition proposed by Camlin Power Ltd (UK) is described. A method for ADMS cost-benefit analysis with the rationale for the transition from the foreign criteria "Annual benefit of ADMS application" to the criteria "ADMS Payback period" is proposed. The estimation of ADMS payback period for power transformers and HV circuit breakers is given.
The article Presents the results of the analysis of reliability indicators of generating units (GU) of objects of distributed generation (DG) of different types and power operated under different conditions. The main causes of damage to the GU both in parallel with the power system and in an isolated mode are considered. The influence of frequent short-term, as well as long-term outages of state enterprise objects of DG on the modes of operation of power grid equipment is shown. The necessity of equipping the power grid equipment with monitoring and diagnostics systems, as well as devices of emergency automation is substantiated.
Оn November 17, 2014, almost five years ago, an event took place, the fact of which was sparingly and briefly reflected in newspaper articles and television news – all the work on the restoration of the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP was completed. Only 2 hydraulic units were able to be restored in the shortest time after the accident, and for a long time the station worked at 1/5 of its rated load.
