Creation of hybrid machines for the production of agricultural parts

Iakovleva A.P. PhD Candidate in Engineering, Associate Professor, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow 5, Vtoraya Baumanskaya St., Moscow, 5, e-mail: yakovleva525@mail.ru

Mechanisms of agricultural engineering have their characteristics due to the following reasons: high requirements for wear resistance and fatigue strength of the working surfaces of parts that experience heavy loads, relatively large size and weight of manufactured machines, predominantly small-scale and serial nature of production, etc. Under the conditions of ageing and wear of machine and tractor fleet, the repeated rise in the cost of machinery, spare parts, and lack of funds, the technical equipment of agricultural production must be solved by developing new and improving existing production and repair processes. When manufacturing agricultural machinery and mechanisms, it is necessary to use modern technology, equipment, and materials. A vital task is the development and application of hybrid technologies and hybrid equipment for the production of machines and mechanisms, as well as spare parts for the machine and tractor fleet. The paper presents options for applying the principle of aggregation. This will allow for the creation of machine tool systems where different types of machining can be combined on a single platform, which reduces the time for intermediate and auxiliary operations, the range of available equipment, maintenance and repair costs, etc., being especially important for small enterprises, repair shops, small businesses that produce agricultural machinery and mechanisms.

Hybrid processes, focused on the use of multifunctional production complexes, have been actively used in metal processing recently. On the one hand, this fully fits the established trend of increasing complexity of technical systems due to the increase in the number of functions performed at one workplace, increasing complexity of the composition and structure of operations and process equipment, as well as an increasing number of functional modules in the control system with the integration of IT-technologies and flexible automation. The creation of the above systems with high efficiency allows a wide range of issues and problems to be solved. The main challenge is to build multifunctional production complexes with standalone operations in flexible machine-building production. This minimizes the amount of main and auxiliary equipment, production space and resources, and reduces the production cycle by replacing route technology with a "one workstation" complex for the turnkey production of parts [1-10].

On the other hand, due to the lack of funding for agriculture, the trend of the division of large enterprises into small companies, the development of small businesses and repair shops, and the course of the Russian government on import substitution require to think through the issue related to the optimization of equipment used and the application of the principle of aggregation [ ].

The technical and economic analysis (Fig. 1) showed that hybrid machine tool systems are economically feasible to use with a minimum range of manufactured parts, which is similar to the niche of automatic equipment with non-reprogrammable control systems (area A). However, the flexibility and versatility of such complex mechatronic systems will practically not be used, which is not technically and productively justified. The high price of hybrid machines makes their use low-cost in the effective area of traditional CNC machines (area C). However, their greater flexibility allows for expanding the zone (area B) of effective applicability for a set of technical and economic indicators.
