The paper presents a new approach to the strategy for the development of the production system based on a formalized description of the bifurcations that arise in the creative activity of specialists. The authors substantiate the goal of the development of the production system to get closer to the appearance of individual paper-only production. They show that the effective producer of the process of strategic development is the "bifurcation producer", which at another point is the product of creative activity. As the first measure of assessing the effectiveness of the production system development strategy, the authors proposed an approximate method for calculating the similarity coefficient of the "bifurcation producer" to individual paper-only production.

The current production development strategy, defined as the choice of the direction of the main control actions for a long period, is one of the most advanced and urgent problems.

From time to time, society is faced with the need to implement purposeful "bifurcations" that radically change the nature of production forces, and even production relations [1]. Sometimes these events turn out to be successful, sometimes they lead to negative consequences, and therefore, the task of assessing the necessity, usefulness of certain "bifurcations" is always relevant.

In the production activity of society, such bifurcations include radically changing principles and approaches to the organization of production, as well as to the choice of technological equipment.

Taking into account the producerproduct approach to the analysis of production [2], it is appropriate to speak about the presence of "bifurcation producers" (BP), which affect the production development. The number of BPs in real conditions is not that large, and one of the tasks is to rank it in terms of importance and usefulness. The limited number of them is explained by the fact that not all innovations radically change production.

However, it is possible to solve this problem systematically only if the goal of production development is determined. Understanding this goal is one of the main, fundamental tasks. It touches upon such complex issues as the goals of human life; the relationship between material and spiritual production; the place of a person in society as a result of his/her release from routine production activities. In this article, we propose to solve these problems based on the man-machine model of production transformation [3].

It is worth reminding that following this model, at the technocratic (not political) level, the inevitability of the transition to paper-only production is affirmed with all the ensuing consequences. From a technocratic point of view, society expects such profound changes as the dominance of "individual" automated production, the transition to which will require the meaningful formation of a multitude of BPs. The descriptions of the new BPs given in the article are based on the already conducted research in production harmonization. The important task is also to create a model that describes the relationship of a person as an active thinking person (ATP) and production.
