Communication culture of the Khmer ethnicity in Vietnam (Case: communication in family and community phum, soc)

Communicative culture is one of the elements of culture. It bears the mark of the way of thinking, the way of education, the behavior of each person, the humanity of the community. Therefore, in each ethnic group, each country in general, and the Khmer people in Vietnam in particular, there are social codes of conduct suitable to cultural conditions, showing humanity through the behavior of each person. individuals in families and communities. The article approaches to study the communication culture of the Khmer in different languages, and the behavior between relationships within the family, phum, and squirrels of the Khmer. Since then, the study wishes to contribute to the development of behavioral culture, building a solid cultural foundation for individuals and ethnic Khmer people from the traditional cultural background and the development of Vietnamese society today.

Ethnic culture in general, ethnic communication culture in relationships in particular is a very rich and lively issue. In which, language (including speech and writing) is an important component of, plays an important role in performing the functions of thinking, communication, expression and storage, together with labor has contributed to forming material and spiritual cultural values. Stemming from the important role of language in culture, from the characteristics of the situation of ethnic minorities in Vietnam, our Party and State have long had very specific policies for conservation and develop languages of ethnic minorities, including Khmer language. Language communication cannot be separated from the socio-cultural environment. The article focuses on studying problems in the communication culture of the Khmer people under the influence of factors such as language, religion, family culture... This study, on the one hand, shows the characteristics of Khmer language in communication and behavioral culture in the family, phum soc range of the Khmer.

The object of the research is the language and communication culture of the Khmer people in Vietnam, so in terms of the historical aspects of ethnic formation, the residence area, etc., the survey subjects are the Khmer people in the southern provinces. Ministries such as: Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Kien Giang, An Giang... are representative of the Khmer ethnic group in general and the communication culture of the Khmer in Vietnam in particular.

With the above research object and object, the author uses the following specific methods:

— Documentary method: We study cultural and communication documents to generalize into a theoretical basis for the research. At the same time, linguistic documents in general and Khmer language in particular were also used to compare and supplement the research materials.

— Observational method (participating and non-participating observation): observing, collecting (recording/recording) cases of communication in Khmer language in family activities and family activities. This method uses data collection and statistics in the area where the study participants live, specifically: Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, An Giang, Kien Giang.
