The most important priority for ensuring geopolitical and food security in the Russian Federation is the preservation of the rural way of life, for this purpose, it is necessary to ensure the further development of agriculture and rural areas, an increase in the standard of living and employment rate of the rural population. Peasant Farm Enterprises, which belong to small forms of management as a mass social phenomenon, are one of the most important objects of statistical research of the agricultural sector [1]. When studying the development and effectiveness of Peasant Farm Enterprises, it is necessary to take into account the nature and characteristics of the mechanisms of their functioning. Peasant Farm Enterprises are based mainly on the labour resources of families, as well as their land and other material resources [2]. In connection with the high differentiation within the studied category of farms in terms of size, intensification and efficiency of agricultural production, it becomes necessary to classify Peasant Farm Enterprises and study labour resources by individual groups (types). Earlier, the authors created a grouping of Peasant Farm Enterprises by income based on the lognormal distribution [6], which revealed significant differences between the groups.
The purpose of the research is to develop a methodology for the typification of Peasant Farm Enterprises and the analysis of labour resources for the selected types.
Research objectives: to develop a methodology for the typification of Peasant Farm Enterprises, to analyze the differences in size, specialization, in the level of efficiency and intensity of production for the selected groups, to carry out a comprehensive analysis of labour resources for the formed types of Peasant Farm Enterprises, to assess the impact of labour resources on the income of Peasant Farm Enterprises by the method of correlation-regression analysis.
The information base for the research is the depersonalized data of the departmental reporting form 1-Peasant Farm Enterprise "Information on the Production Activities of the Heads of Peasant Farm Enterprises - Individual Entrepreneurs" in three constituent entities of the Russian Federation with different agro-climatic conditions: the Republic of Buryatia, the Lipetsk Region and Stavropol Krai [7]. Farms without land area and animals and farms with annual incomes less than 50 thousand rubles are excluded from the group.
