By 2030, the state policy of the agroindustrial complex sets the tasks of transformation into a single digital platform for accounting for the provision of data, services, which will allow the development of various sectors of agriculture [1, 4].
In recent years, installations for growing crops using hydroponic and aeroponic systems have appeared in the cities of our country. The goal of city farming is to create and maintain easyto-use urban farming installations for growing crops using hydroponic and aeroponic systems.
The city farm provides elements of design and agrotechnology, arrangement and maintenance of agroindustrial farms that grow food in enclosed spaces.
To develop a city farm, specialists must have systems thinking, the ability to manage projects and processes, have a lean attitude towards production, and the ability to manage production processes based on a constant striving to eliminate all types of losses. All this presupposes the involvement of each employee in the business optimization process and maximum customer orientation.
The main functions of a city farm for growing crops are the frequency of irrigation (relay), irrigation based on the readings of soil moisture sensors, lighting control (relays) with reference to the time of day and airing using a temperature or humidity sensor.
Main functionality:
• Periodic irrigation (relay).
• Irrigation based on readings of soil moisture sensors.
• Lighting control (relay) with reference to the time of day.
• Ventilation by air temperature and humidity sensor.
How do channels work?
1. Timer — simple periodic timer: PAUSE periods and OPERATION time are set in the format HH: MM: SS. With the PAUSE period, the selected action is performed during the OPERATION period. For example, PAUSE is 1 hour, OPERATION — 10 seconds. Every hour an action will be performed for 10 s, that is, if a relay channel is selected, the relay will turn on and off after 10 s, then turn on again after an hour and turn off after 10 s, etc. How the channel behaves — this can be on/off and off /on (relay). This mode is not linked to real time; rebooting the system resets the current timer. Attention! OPERATION should not be longer than PAUSE!
