The yield of rape in Russia is low, on average it does not exceed 15–20 c/ha, including in the Krasnodar Krai. A negative impact on the growth and development of agricultural plants in the spring is exerted by a rapid increase in air temperature and the absence of precipitation. Foliar dressing with macro- and microelements plays an essential role in the life processes of plants. They are a necessary component of their nutrition system and contribute to an increase in yield.
The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of highly concentrated Vuksal Boron fertilizer on seed yield and quality of spring rape products. The test was carried out on the Galant variety in the conditions of the central Krasnodar Krai. It should be noted that this work is a continuation of research aimed at searching for ways to increase crop yields [1–3].
In 2018–2019, field experiments were made on the production site of the VNIIBZR (All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection) crop rotation according to generally accepted methods [4, 5]. The accounting plot area was 30 m2 , the experiment was repeated four times. The soil of the experimental site is thin, heavy loamy leached blackearth (chernozem). The humus content in the arable layer is 3.0 %, the pH of the salt extract is 5.5. The content of mobile forms of phosphorus is 17.4 mg/100 g of soil, potassium — 32.8 mg/100 g of soil. Before harvesting, model sheaves were selected from each plot to analyze the structure of the crop. Harvesting was carried out by Xege-125 combine. The product quality was determined using an Infrapid-61 spectrophotometer. The data obtained were processed by the method of analysis of variance [6]. Soil and climatic conditions during the study period were favourable for the growth and development of spring rape plants.
The experience included the following options:
1. Control.
2. Foliar dressing at a dose of 0.7 l/ha in the phase of rosette formation and budding phase.
