At the moment of great importance in ensuring the activity of the state universities conduct state accreditation is given, as a result of which they can continue their activities, and may be deprived of the right to conduct educational activities, or denied a license to carry out any areas of training students. At the initial stage of the reform of national education, when it began to appear a lot of non-public (private) high schools, their activities had to be subjected to accreditation. Today, however, accreditation has become for state universities «sword of Damocles» when universities are more engaged in processing of various documents to pass accreditation, than to improve the effectiveness of student learning.
The article considered and analyzed the forms and methods of cooperation of financial institutions with major institutions of higher education. The author used material published in the Internet, as well as information provided by the competent representative of the colleges.
The problems of employment for students and graduates in higher education institutions are considered, the factors preventing them from getting employment quickly and in their speciality are analysed. Particular attention is paid to the problems of training specialists for public authorities and local government.
In the article the most eff ective forms of cooperation between potential employers and vocational education institutions are examined. The special features of interrelationships between specifi c links of vocational education and employers at territorial and corporate levels are revealed. The necessity to involve employers in improving practical training of the teaching staff is established.
