The article analyzes the current state of automatization of customs control over conditionally released goods in Russia. Based on the results of the analysis, current problems of customs control over conditionally released goods were identified. To solve these problems, a number of measures have been proposed aimed at developing the institution of conditional release of goods in Russia.
The article presents an analysis of the results of the implementation of the fiscal function by the customs authorities, in terms of the administration of customs payments. The effectiveness of the activities of customs authorities in the administration of customs payments as a tool for ensuring financial security has been studied using a matrix of paired Pearson correlation coefficients. The main problems of the administration of customs payments are identified, and recommendations are proposed to improve the activities of customs authorities in this area in order to ensure the financial security of Russia.

The problem with defining the concept of "sanction" is that different researchers and politicians may have different points of view on which specific measures can be classified as sanctions. Some may consider that any restrictive measures taken against another country can be called sanctions, while others may consider that only certain types of restrictions can be considered sanctions.
