The article deals with the features of Patriotic education of young people, cultural foundations and traditional values in the Patriotic education of young citizens. The author focuses on the formation of an integral and effective system of patriotism education, which is an urgent problem in society. The author emphasizes the need to create a fundamentally new concept of Patriotic education of young people, adapted to modern realities. The author concludes that it is necessary to adjust the normative and conceptual foundations of state youth policy in modern Russia in the context of increasing the importance of Patriotic education of young people in solving the problems of political socialization of young citizens of the country.
