This article presents an analysis of the implementation of the concept of decent work and its corresponding idea of decent wages in modern Russia. The role of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia in the implementation of the concept of decent work, adopted by the international labor organization — the ILO — is shown. The analysis of citizens’ notions about the notion of «decent wages» and the eff orts of the state and government on the practical implementation of this concept is also presented.
