The article discusses the effectiveness of applying insulation of gas-insulated switchgears for outdoor installation. The article analyzes the technical solutions and the main nominal parameters used in the production of gas-insulated switchgears of the RUEN-UETM–110 outdoor installation produced by Uralelectrotyazhmash joint Stock company. The indicators of reliability and durability of gas-insulated switchgears, as well as the advantages of the considered switchgears, are given. The conclusion is made about the expediency of using the given design of switchgears.
The article presents the results of a study of the modes of induction equipment designed for aluminum extrusion. Powerful single-phase inductors connected to a three-phase network cause asymmetry of currents and voltages, worsening the work of the rest of the equipment of the workshop, sharply increasing losses. The study of the mode of a single-phase inductor in a three-phase network was carried out by software using parametric circuit models built using hybrid analysis. Replacing approximate engineering methods with automated computational algorithms and mathematical modeling made it possible to perform a more accurate calculation. To increase control flexibility in practice, automation of balancing using a microcontroller is proposed. In the problem, the advantages and rationality of heating aluminum with electricity are shown, which allow us to proceed to a calculated estimate of the efficiency of electric heating in comparison with gas.
Ways to improve the reliability of electric power facilities by reserving elements of power supply systems on the example of compressor stations and linear consumers are Considered. Variants of implementation of various types of structure formation of power supply systems for high-risk objects are proposed. We present theoretically based reliability calculation indicators that allow us to estimate the probability of failure-free operation and the average time of failure-free operation for various methods of reserving systems. Numerical reliability calculations are performed for typical examples of power supply systems with redundancy. It is shown that the best indicators of reliability are provided by the power supply systems of compressor shops for maintenance with replacement and for sliding redundancy. Structural schemes of practical implementation of methods for reserving electric power facilities and assessment of reliability indicators based on the design features of Magistral gas pipelines are also presented.
This paper analyzes modern software systems used in the calculation of emergency modes and related technological tasks in complex electrical networks. Calculation conditions and methods for creating calculation models are described. The possibilities of computer programs are compared, and their disadvantages are revealed when solving problems of calculating SCC. The purpose of this article is to analyze the capabilities of software systems V-VI-50PZ, NEPLAN, ETAP and EMTP-RV for SCC calculations.
Analytical review of a number of problematic issues identified during the selection of professional standards (PS) in the framework of the main educational programs (OP) in the field of training 13.03.02 "electric power and electrical engineering" in accordance with the new Federal state educational standard (FSES VO 3++). The issues of interaction between the FSES in 3++ AND the PS are considered, and the principles of formation of national qualification systems (NSCS) are outlined. The role of the NSC and the national qualifications framework (NQF) as a means of reforming professional education and lifelong learning is shown.
