The article examines the problem of personnel adaptation at the DoubleTree by Hilton Moscow— Marina hotel. The author analyzed the current state of adaptation of the hotel complex and noted the weak points of the adaptation program.
Tourism is one of the key sectors of Vietnam’s economy, and the demand for travel has been actively recovering after the pandemic. According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), about 177,810 Russian tourists visited Vietnam in the first ten months of 2024 — an increase of 81.5% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, there is a growing interest in ecofriendly vacations and authentic accommodation options. Specifically, according to the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry, the demand for eco-hotels among Russian tourists increased by 40 % in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. Therefore, promoting eco-hotel and homestay services online has become particularly relevant, helping to attract the target audience and meet their new ecoconscious preferences. This study examines the key concepts of eco-hotel and homestay, modern digital trends in promoting tourism services, as well as practical examples of ecotourism development in Vietnam (with a focus on the Nha Trang resort area) and existing cases of online promotion.

The article is devoted to the study of the role of mobile applications of online travel agencies (OTA) as a key digital tool for promoting tourism products. The article analyzes the growth trends in the share of mobile bookings on global platforms (Booking.com, Trip.com, Airbnb) and Southeast Asian "super apps" (Traveloka, Yanolja), as well as the features of their functional evolution: from a booking aggregator to a "planning — booking — experience" environment with implemented AI recommendations and e-Visa modules. Particular attention is paid to the competitive advantages of applications in language localization, multicurrency payment and security of international users’ data.
This article presents a comprehensive study of the role of event festivals in shaping the tourist attractiveness of the Murmansk region as the leading Arctic region of Russia. The work analyzes the key festival events of the region, including the Arctic Festival "Teriberka", the northern culture festival "Imandra", the gastronomic festival "Taste of the Arctic" and other significant events. The study is based on current statistics showing a record tourist flow to the region in 2024, which amounted to 761 thousand people. The methodology includes an analysis of the economic impact of event tourism, an assessment of socio-cultural effects and a study of international experience in the development of festival tourism in the Arctic regions. The results demonstrate a significant impact of event events on the regional economy, job creation, infrastructure development and the formation of a positive image of the territory.

The author analyzes the current state of water transport passenger traffic in the Russian Federation and notes the gap in collecting statistics on water transport перевозок for tourism purposes. As a solution to the data collection issue, the GIS "Electronic Voucher" is considered, its characteristics are given, and its use in the tourist cruise industry is described.
The article examines effective tools for the formation of a sustainable tourism development model in the context of growing pressure from mass tourism. Practical, legislative and infrastructural measures aimed at preserving the environment, supporting local communities and sustainable economic development are analyzed. Approaches and solutions that can be adapted by other countries for the purpose of balanced development of the tourism industry are identified.
