The Republic of Georgia is a valuable object of study for researchers of socio-economic development in post-Soviet countries, as its transformation path after gaining independence represents a unique combination of Western European principles and regional cultural and historical characteristics. The article analyzes the socio-economic development of the Republic of Georgia, identifies the problems hindering economic growth, and assesses development prospects. Macroeconomic indicators, including GDP dynamics, are considered. The state of infrastructure and its impact on economic activity are analyzed. The role of the tourism sector in the country’s economy and the dynamics of social indicators in the Republic of Georgia are assessed.

Kazakhstan, with its unique natural and cultural resources, has every chance of becoming an attractive destination for tourists both domestically and internationally. Attention is focused on key factors contributing to the growth of investments in tourism, such as infrastructure development, government support, as well as the introduction of modern technologies. The main challenges and risks facing the industry are also considered, including the need to improve the quality of services and improve the country’s image as a tourist destination.
This paper examines the challenges facing the development of excursion tourism in Cambodia, focusing on the impact of cross-border routes from neighboring Thailand and Vietnam on various aspects of tourism activity. It analyzes the current state of the tourism industry, identifying key issues related to competition, service quality, revenue distribution, and cultural heritage preservation. The study aims to assess the impact of cross-border tourism on the tourist experience, including tourist perception of attractions, service quality, and the opportunity to experience local culture. It also assesses the impact of cross-border routes on the country’s economy, considering issues of employment, tax revenue, and infrastructure development. Statistical data illustrating the scope of cross-border tourism are presented, as well as examples of specific routes and their impact on Cambodia. The paper concludes with recommendations for developing an effective strategy for the development of excursion tourism in Cambodia aimed at enhancing competitiveness, improving the tourist experience, and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
The trend of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) is a technology that is actively developing and creating a large gap between large hospitality enterprises and small local hotels, which are often unable to afford expensive digital technologies.
The article provides an analysis of the transformation of the hotel market in the context of changing consumer preferences, the development of domestic tourism and the introduction of innovative technologies. Special attention is paid to the capsule hotels segment. Statistical data on the volume and pace of development of this segment are considered, the characteristics of the target audience and the factors contributing to the popularity of the format are given.
The hospitality industry plays an important role in the global economy, providing accommodation services and satisfying the needs of tourists. However, in the conditions of growing competition, absolutely all hotels face the need for constant improvement of the services provided in order to attract and retain guests. In this regard, special attention is paid to corporate culture, which becomes an integral part of the formation of key competitive advantages. The article examines the peculiarity of corporate culture in different hotel enterprises, Russian and foreign experience.

Culinary richness and product diversity allow creating a powerful potential for the development and promotion of gastronomic brands of national and regional characte [2]. The article highlights the most promising region of Cambodia for creating an attractive international gastronomic brand, and shows an element of a PR campaign using the example of a specially created interactive gastronomic map "Rice and Pepper".
