Electric power consumers are facing issues of faults in power network. The faults are followed by fires, explosions, technogenic catastrophes, leading to tragic consequences. Correct actions to protect and expand electric equipment lifetime as well as to provide safety, information is presented. Comparative characteristic of voltage control relay of foreign and domestic origin is presented.
A type of explosion protection «intrinsic safe electric circuit» is reviewed, based on maintaining intrinsic safe current in electric circuit. Intrinsic safe, explosion protected electric equipment is reviewed, as well as equipment marking.
The work is aimed at developing techniques and software complex for simulation of multi-linked gate-electromechanical systems using different converters and control methods.
The transformers reviewed are ex one of the largest electric equipment manufacturers Minsk electro technical plant after V. I. Kozlov. The transformers have been tested on compliance with valid standards on transformers with special balancing system. It was revealed that they are the most cost effective ones for 4-wire networks of 0.38 kV with single phase or combined load. The advantage of TMG transformers type is justified, technical characteristics are reviewed and TMG transformer scheme is presented.
The new interface system TeSys SoLink for electric motor control is presented. New connecting interfaces SoLink for starters group TeSys allow to simplify connection scheme and to provide status full-time control and monitoring.
Up-to-date «ASMUT» system is presented — technical software measuring system of automated system, monitoring and diagnostics of power oil transformers and auto transformers with power from 100 MV·A.
Justification of T-Type equivalent circuit for induction motor when assessing stability of power supply units with induction load. When researching static stability of induction load unit, it is necessary to do calculations for T-type equivalent circuit for induction one, allowing to increase calculations precision for critical voltage of high importance for industrial companies.
Analysis have been performed for environmental friendly composites allowing to restore electric equipment functionality in explosion hazardous areas. Practical use of composite materials use for electric equipment repair has been presented. The examples given for Recom composite use, can be useful in practical business of the specialists who are involved into repair or operation of electric equipment.
Use of reliable and efficient protection against emergency operation modes allows sufficient reduction of number and frequency of emergency situations and will increase life time of induction motors. Emergency operation modes for induction electric motors have been reviewed. Main causes leading to destructive processes have been revealed.
Protective methods against emergency modes have been reviewed for motors. The following protective equipment have been reviewed: fuses, automated circuit breakers (cutouts), excluding most of the problems causing emergency modes by means of changing voltage and frequency of supply network. The devices allow to optimise IM operation in various modes, provide soft start, continuous speed rating, uniform motor rotation in overloads zone, high efficiency criteria.
