The article provides results of analysis of security of outpatient mental health services with psychotherapists posts in regions of the Russian Federation on for 2005 to 2010 according to statistical data. For the purpose of the study the article presents data of state statistical observation. The analysis of the general data for the country as a whole and for 8 different districts is provided.
The first psychotic episode is given special attention in profile literature in recent years. This is due to several factors. Two main reasons can be identified as: the importance of this issue in terms of the research and its relevance in the clinical and prognostic aspect for the effective provision of mental health care on condition of comprehensive early therapeutic intervention that stipulates an important orgranisational aspect of this problem. There’s still a lack of comparative results of delivery of aid to patients according to clinical programs of first psychotic episode, conducted on representative selections and revealing contents of its advantages. It is important to get more data about the effectiveness of aid programs in patients with a first psychotic episode, and compare it with the results of treatment in the current system of mental health care in our country
The article describes the efficiency of the use of diagnostic and non-drug treatment facilities in 90 patients with cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases, and 70 healthy individuals. Hardware and software systems were used to assess psychophysiological state, functional reserves of organism and risks of development of common diseases.The authors prove possibility of using the hardware and software systems to assess the impact of ongoing non-pharmacological therapies, including reflexology and physiobalneotherapy on psychophysiological state of patients, blood pressure, vegetative status, as well as to assess the predictive efficiency of rehabilitation measures. The article foresees to build a personalized program of medical rehabilitation of patients with common diseases.
The appearance of new psychotropic drugs — atypical antipsychotics, antidepressants of «new generation» on the pharmaceutical Russian market — has greatly improved the pharmacotherapy of psychiatric patients, the quality of life and patient compliance with subsequent reduction of costs of re-hospitalization. The analysis of the supply structure of psychotropic drugs in Regional psychiatric hospital using method «Defined daily doses» allowed to determine priorities in the development of the hospital market in Khabarovsk Krai.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the severe forms of organic lesions of the nervous system that predominantly affects young and able-bodied persons. MS patients need constant highly qualified specialized medical care with the involvement of as neurologists and other physicians, specially trained professionals, focused on issues of etiology; pathogenesis; the clinical picture of the disease and characteristics of MS in individuals of different sex and age; basic principles of treatment as in exacerbation and remission. Epilepsy is a disease that ranks third among diseases of the brain. In some cases drugbased treatment schemes proposed by primary care neurologists prove to be ineffective. The appearance on the market of new drugs, adequate application of modern anti-epileptic agents provides satisfactory effect of therapy in 60-80% of patients. The paper analyzes data from 421 patients with epilepsy, the results of the correction of drug therapy by an epileptologist is presented.
The purpose of the study was to measure by the SCL-90-R some aspects of mental wellbeing of patients with uterine leiomyoma (UL) and comorbid gynecological and sexual disorders. In a controlled and correlational study involved 152 women who voluntarily completed the symptomatic questionnaire SCL-90-R, the main group — 101 women with clinically validated UL, the control group — 51 healthy woman. There were significant symptomatic distress due to UL, its symptoms, and all types of comorbid disorders UL except infertility.
Methodology of clinical feasibility analysis (CFA) is used to assess economic and clinical feasibility of used technologies of prophylaxis, diagnostics and treatment, and also for assessment of efficiency of management technologies.CFA assumes obligatory comparison of financial costs and efficiency. It is based on the results of specific clinical and economic and financial studies, during which both clinical and financial and economic results of the medical activity are assessed.
The article provides analysis of the results of MRI of the brain research and treatment of 128 patients with traumatic intracranial hematomas. There were 113 surveyed men (88.3 %) and 15women (11.7 %). Age of injured ranged from 17 to 82 years. All patients were subjected to surgery. The article reveals significant correlation in MRI data acquired with the use of a new classification of brain damage, which takes into account changes in cortical and subcortical structures in the area of the corpus callosum, subcortical, thalamus and brainstem structures (data on the Glasgow Coma Scale: R₁ = –0,63, p < 0.05, on a scale of Glasgow outcome: R₂ = –0,71, p <0.05) with the outcomes of traumatic intracranial hematomas.
